because generally in multiplayer i try to flank enemies i don't run to a corner and hide with my team and lay in wait for people to pass by

 

as i said above listen mode doesn't work on stationary people aka campers

 

honestly i don't think my problem is with the camping so much as how severely the game punishes movement

you want to get somewhere doing anything but walking like a crab? forget it

well honestly so far i'd say that some of what qualifies as being good at this game isn't for me 

i.e. ganging up on people and camping till you can shoot your enemy in the back 


Its a survival game. You're supposed to get ganged up on if you dont have your teammates around you. If someone attacked you from behind it sounds like you got surrounded stayed in one place the team broke off into parts and you got flanked by one of them.

Exactly. Run and gun isnt all there is to life, this is why I play BF more than I do COD.

Yes you can. Put a bomb on a couple of entrances and watch the other with a bow or a molotov. Win.

Yeah if the opponent is a scrub lol. Veterans of the MP know better for traps.

Nothing beats 50% bigger explosions! I just chuck bombs and mollys at people with blatant disregard. Couple that with level 3 stealth (enemies don't hear you when you crouch walk) and you're in beast mode. 15 downs, 11 executions, 1 death, and 6 revives is my best match so far. And to think I was going back to Uncharted because I hated this MP at first.

A good player won't be lured out and he is ok with the time running out.
