Forums - Nintendo - 10 Forgotten Gaming Characters Nintendo Needs To Revive- The hell! Prince of Hyrule?

NO.

Except for Geno, and maybe C. Falcon, all of those belong to the graveyard of oblivion.

anybody on that list thats worth a damn has been in or referenced in the Smash series so they are covered.

They need to make Ice Climbers Downrising.

Joking aside, who even wants an Ice Climbers game? O_o

The original was nothing special and I fail to see how the concept could be applied to more modern machines.

Doesnt have to be exactly like the original. Isnt Kid Icarus Uprising different from the NES one?

They could turn it into a different genre or something.

You do have a point there; Kid Icarus' return was handled extremely well.

Still, I don't see the point on a new Ice Climers title. Seeing them in Smash is enough.

I think there are a lot of Wii, GC, and N64 characters they are missing as well. Probably a bunch of handheld characters as well...Starfry anyone?

Starfy. Not Starfry.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

Many of these characters seem like something you would want to keep in the far, dark reaches of your brain for safe-keeping. Not to use them again, but for small talk when things get awkward.

Only one I agree with is the resurrection of C. Falcon. And that is still iffy.

"maybe C. Falcon"?

What did he ever do to you?

The Famicom Detective Club games were actually pretty decent visual novels, and in light of how 999 (at least, maybe VLR as well) was a success the genre still seems to have an audience. Not sure it'd be worth the time to do it in-house, though.

And why so iffy on the Captain?

I suck very badly in his games.

Oh.

Down with Captain Falcon!
