didn't Iwata previously say that there's still some key 3rd party games unanncounced for the WiiU? i was expecting this. i wonder what's next (hoping it's GTA V or something :P)

Could have been Microsoft forcing them to keep it quiet. Why, exactly, I wouldn't know, but it would make sense, as Activision has been hush-hush about the Wii versions of Call of Duty to the point that you wonder why they bother (they're only hurting themselves by not discussing it), but Activision's silence about Wii/U versions does coincide with that agreement they signed with Microsoft

I mean, it's certainly not in Activision or Nintendo's interests to act like the Wii/U versions of Call of Duty don't exist, unless Activision was being otherwise incentivized to specifically downplay them.

I'll keep my eye on the game. Not much of a shooter junkie, but I don't mind playing an occasional match with friends.

Anyway, I really don't care about CoD since MW2. But good to see the game on the Wii U I guess.

I have no idea why it's taken so long to announce it, if its coming.
