Who's to say there isn't?

There's no evidence for it.

There's none against it either.

Any thread like this, whatever your purpose, gets out of hand quite fast.

fwiw your logic is sound and the definition of perfectly loving is what's up for debate.

I'll keep the thread "in hand".

What does "fwiw" mean?

Logic isn't a biology subject.

I think they follow logic. They follow their own logic (even if that seems illogical to you). All humans pursue their desires.

Fine, math then. Though Biology does follow logic aswell, but for the sake of simplifying the argment lets go with math.

You make it sound like i said they are the only ones that do it. But, not believing in religion is not a desire, its a product of logic. It has been disproven time and again for anyone who wishes to see it, so only the desire to believe it can drive this logic you say they follow. Wich is unlogical because it has a base on desire.

They believe because they want to. Wether its true or likely doesnt seem to matter, because this desire makes them want to believe in it, whatever it is.

It was proven that god doesn't exist? Show me please!

OK, but without knowing what that purpose is due to lack of evidence, you are de facto in a state of there not being one.

What do you believe is the purpose then?

Do you believe we should believe in every claim simply because they are possible (even absurd and contradictory claims)?

Or should we believe in things that we have a reason to believe?

Continuous disproof is not the same thing as proof of the negative. Basic philosophy. What he's saying is that religious claims have been tested repeatedly and found to be false or untestable.

Just saying we shouldn't rule out everything.

I know were gonna walk in circles here, but it follows the same logic as this: Flying pigs dont exist? Show me please!

A perfectly loving God does exist.

I mean, God is so great. He loves us all. Why else would he give newborn babies AIDS in Africa?

i don't know man. sometimes I don't know why us humans are here. let me ask a silly question: what if you created some living lifeforms, are their GOD?
