Forums - Gaming - APPLE Results: Lots of big numbers.

I guess the smartphone market is much bigger than it used to be as i though Apple already peaked and was declining with Samsung in the lead. But good for Apple. I wonder why they never report numbers on Mac though

Xbox Series, PS5 and Switch (+ Many Retro Consoles)

Prediction: Switch 2 will outsell the PS5 by 2030

Slightly off-topic, but when will Samsung release their numbers?

26th (well, in korea and 25th for some other people  lol)

Why won't you die Apple!!!!!!!!!!!!! JK (or am I)?

their tablet and computer market is going downhill so far, but their phone market is on another level.

Its a double edged sword for them, The more iPhones they sell the less iPads and iMacs people will need, so they will sell less.

Current Game Machines: 3DS, Wii U, PC.

Currently Playing: X-Com(PC), Smash Bros(WiiU), Banner Saga(PC), Guild Wars 2(PC), Project X Zone(3DS), Luigis Mansion 2(3DS), DayZ(PC)

and people say you only post the news that suits you...

Either way pretty great numbers considering how much under performing and future cautioning against high expectations there have been with most other companies.

So they sold more iPhones, but less iMacs, iPods and iPads. Hmmm not THAT great, but they're still doing well enough as iPhone really is the most important product they have.

Still it clearly shows that their products are in less demand compared to what they once used to be.

Its only audio.  So do lots of companies. MS and Sony do it too.

I know, I listen to it, thought Apple was livestreaming video.

That is the wrong way to look at it.
BMW has different cars available. If you have a BMW X1, you don't need a BMW Z4, right?

At the end of the day it comes down to sell your brand to the consumer. The consumer will buy a smartphone and / or a tablet and / or a laptop, whatever he prefers. As a company it is your job to offer him something for every need / preference.

Imagine not having GamePass on your console...

iPods have been on the decline since smartphones started becoming prevalent.

There was no introduction of a new iPad this year (iPad 3 w/retina display debuted last year)

As for Macs, so far they've only released the Haswell MacBook Air, which gave the MBA a large battery boost. Many people are waiting for the announcement/release of the Haswell MacBook Pros, which should increase battery life not to mention having improved gpus and whatever else updates Apple includes.

I'm considering picking up a laptop myself. MBA is my choice at the moment but I'd like to see what the updated MBPs offer before purchasing.
