iPods have been on the decline since smartphones started becoming prevalent.
There was no introduction of a new iPad this year (iPad 3 w/retina display debuted last year)
As for Macs, so far they've only released the Haswell MacBook Air, which gave the MBA a large battery boost. Many people are waiting for the announcement/release of the Haswell MacBook Pros, which should increase battery life not to mention having improved gpus and whatever else updates Apple includes.
I'm considering picking up a laptop myself. MBA is my choice at the moment but I'd like to see what the updated MBPs offer before purchasing.
