You know, the comments in the article about the structure of Japan Studio might tell us a lot about why TLG has taken so long. If Team Ico followed the same pattern, with only the core group working on the title, then I think it might be understandable. You wouldn't have more people on the project until it reaches the latter stages.

Don't really care if is released or not

It's crazy to see how long this game is taking. I guess it should be good, in the least.

There literally hasn't been a trailer shown since E3 09. The fact that there haven't even been any screenshots suggests that they aren't making much progress. 


Game was scrapped about two years ago. Now it is back in development

It's called The Last Guardian. It can't possibly ship until every other PS3 game is already out.

Yup. couple of months ago they confirmed it's in development as well and an announcement is coming.

So we're talking 2017+ at the earliest (4 years after the PS4 launch) assuming Sony supports the PS3 like they did with the PS2. I guess it really will be the PS3's LAST Guardian. With over a decade of development time, this game BETTER BE GOOD.

All I know is these guys should be really happy this is Sony and not Microsoft
