havent you heard? the number one cause for heart attacks in the world is video games.   bad joke i know

but yeah, be become heartless basterds when we have controllers in our hands

those guys are unbelievable lol
what a jk

The Indiana Jones IV comment aside (lol), I tend to agree.

There's a reason why games try to ape film-like presentation and cinematics and themes etc. etc. etc. Because they're trying to be like movies.

But they'll never be quite like movies.

this proves my theory that those guys made some of the best movies by accident.

i personally never liked any of goerge lucas's films. spielberg just a few. but he just proves that he is an idiot. he got upset with shitty controls and he calls it an art. wow, so if i go to watch a film, and im upset because its shit, that movie is art huh? good, then sharknado and dinoshark are the most artistic movies ever made

i was just trying to be funny lol

i love them both ..obviously they dont know anything about games they are just trying to stay relevant.

Games can't compete with movies because they're 10+ hour investements of a person's time for starters, and that's a deal breaker to many people. The controller is another deal breaker.

Movies are simply more accessible as an entertainment medium ... you don't have to do anything but watch for 2-3 hours. The onus is entirely on the filmmaker to entertain you, not in your skill as a "player". That's why movies will always be more accessible to a wider audience (especially women).

Maybe some day if a "game" can be controller directly by your thoughts and connected to your brain, it could be like a form of lucid dreaming almost, but I think that's a ways off.
