Nah it didn't suck, just took time getting used to after having played with the rally move for so long. I think I finally got the hang today though, which resulted in those high scores I posted a bit ago. I forgot to mention that the rep even took a picture of the scores so he could brag to his fellow reps hehe. Anywho, instead of the rally command, you can now lock on to stuff, and then you shake the nunchuck to have all your pikmin swarm it. It basically serves the same purpose really. At first I was like "rallying better!" but eventually I realized that this method is faster and more efficient, as the captain doesn't have to stand right next to whatever you wanna swarm, they actually run at what it is you wanna swarm, and all of them will go to the target. Btw, from Pikmin 2 onward, it's actually better that you throw your Pikmin to kill enemys, atleast if you don't want to lose any.

No co-op, and tbh I don't think there ever will be in story mode as having a second player makes things so much easier.

i dont know havent played it yet but i trust your word..besides that theres also the issue that some of the pikmin get stuck behind a wall and with C stick on GC it was easy for the pikmin to follow Olimar (if you know what I mean) is that the same issue with pikmin 3 or is it some more advanced A.I. ?

The Pikmin will now follow your exact path, so it's a lot harder for them to get stuck behind stuff, unless you yourself get stuck behind something. :L
