Wow that's surprising. I thought the TLOU and PS3 would make the division profitable. Must be Vita and PS4. 

They confirmed the release of PS4 for US and Europe this holiday but Japan...

I think they'll be fine if they don't release before the Xbox One in Japan. Not to be rude but Xbox isn't much competition for Sony in Japan.

Wasn't there like a looong curse of the TV division not profiting? I remember reading somewhere it said they haven't made a profit there in YEARS!!

Wow, the TV division isn't bleeding like it was? Kaz really is turning things around. Hope he can keep it up, and we can start seeing profits in the 100's of millions. And I'll be glad when the PS4 finally launches, so it can start bringing in its own money, and not being a drag with its R&D costs. But to be fair, it's NOTHING like what the PS3 was doing.
