I actually have the reinforced club, and it is indeed a good 10 points higher in base physical damage, but the strenght scaling is a C, while the club is an A...undecided.

Generally reinforced club always has a higher damage than club as long as they have the same upgrade, have you used the character planner ? try to compare them for yourself, it's a really convenient tool, don't use it for ranged weapons though, the stat on bows are incorrect i think.

Hey that´s pretty neat, I didn´t know about that page..and yes, you´re right, I just checked.

Lots of strength and lots of hitpoints (that's endurance right?).

I pick the big sword of those lizard men in Sen's fortress together with the Eagle shield.

playing as a knight, I'm focusing on vitality/endurance/dexterity

using a black knight greatsword(sometimes switch between the Gravelord Sword)/Black Pharis Bow +15/Black Iron Gauntlets/Chest/leggins(all +5)

I've only done one build but I like it. Intelligence-based Moonlight Greatsword build with a focus on Endurance and Vitality as well.

Here's the build I used for a model:

Only differences are that I have 45 Int and 61 Vit instead of 44/62. Reason being that Logan's Catalyst starts getting diminishing returns after 45 Int. I thought going to 45 Int would be more useful than gaining just 11 more HP. I also use Wolf Ring instead of Dark Wood Grain Ring (I believe this build was made before the DWGR was nerfed. You only get ninja roll at 25% equip load now, not 50%...)

Straight Swords. My favorite weapon doesn't scale because Dark Souls is a poorly developed piece of crap. Armor also doesn't do crap. Whenever I create new files, I take just about all my armor off, so damage received is minimal and I can still move and gain stamina quickly.  There's no point in equipping armor other than looking cool.

Maybe Dark Souls 2 will be a competent release. Dark Souls sure as hell isn't.

The weapon I prefer using in Dark Souls is the claymore (+10 divine). In my opinion, it has a great balance of damage and attack speed (especially holding it with two hands). The lunge attack when wielding it with one hand has served me very well throughout the entire game.

I also use the Knight class plus a 50 faith build and a +5 Black Iron armor set. I would also get +32 strength for the Artorias greatshield and 45 dexterity for casting lightning spears very quickly. I mostly use this for co-op though. :P

I am also a Sunbro.  \ [†] / ☼

I´m on my 3rd playthrough but I´ve never really payed much attention to the supposedly different roll speeds in the same category..this page (http://darksoulswiki.wikispaces.com/Equip+Load) says there are actually two different medium roll speeds (above and below 37.5%) and four different fast roll speeds.

Have any of you noticed different speeds for medium and fast rolls?

i mostly stack endurance, i always wield the best shield in the game, whilst still being able to have the fastest possible roll, even if that means i need to wear cloth armor or no armor at all
