What are all your thoughts on the whole Amazon buying Xbox brand if MS decides to sell?

I wouldn't mind it personally. My experiences with Amazon have been nothing but positive. They are a great company with exceptional customer service.

I don't mind it actually, and Amazon buying Xbox seems like a logical choice if there was a sale. Amazon is a pretty large company and they can easily afford it. They're also heavily pushing into the entertainment market, so they could take on the Xbox's media-friendly focus with ease I think.

I'm for it, if Amazon also gets control of MS current developers. 

Even if they were to sell which I don't believe will happen... It wouldn't. Be before a couple years... By then amazon might have their rumored console out and that might be complicated for them to buy Xbox at that point...
amazon is a good company (if you don't work for one of their shipping facility, I heard it's pretty rough to work there)
but I'm not sure how they will fair in the gaming market... The music/video/books would be awesome... But we could end up with a powerful roku with more turd games like on smartphones than actual core gamers titles... Especially if they target the casual crowd and want a low price device which seems to be their current strategy...

I will not be sad if amazon purchases xbox but with all developers and everybody at xbox. But I want Microsoft to have xbox and keep because the way they could could make all devices connected is. Microsoft spends a lot of money in r&d which is very helpful for xbox all Microsoft services like Skype etc. Microsoft has very deep pockets compared to amazon which means a lot of exclusives. I can give you many reasons why xbox is safe under Microsoft why will even Microsoft sell it now it is a profitable division. I believe all those rumours coming up are only because Microsoft had a slow npd January nothing else. I don't believe insiders and whatever they say from what I know xbox is should stay under Microsoft .

If this were to be true, I'd just like to know more of their intentions. Like yo-john, I've never had bad service with them and they are one of the highest rated companies for customer satisfaction. But I doubt this is true.

Also this guy brings up a good point. If Amazon and MS became partners I could only see good things coming from that. I really do hope something like that happens.
