Forums - Microsoft - Xbox Empire - New thread up soon!

Seece, wow! that is a very impressive list.

I think you are right, and they need some family/party friendly games for the Xbox One.  Like a Kinect Adventure 2, Dance Central, Kinectimal, etc.  I am really surprized they don't have something like Kinect Fun Labs on it yet. Plus yet to add a sesame street or Nat Geo app.

I think there will be a few new IP's too.

Also, thinking about Garden Warfare for the Xbox One myself, but might just save my money till TitanFall.

Really not sure I see any point of Consol over PC's since Kinect, Wii and other alternative ways to play have been abandoned.

Top 50 'most fun' game list coming soon!

Tell me a funny joke!

Can't link the second tweet for some reason, Chrome keeps crashing but I'm glad sequel takes priority over a port which it obviously should, What do you think the chances are off Undead Labs showing off one of their new games at E3? or a trailer?

What id like from them is a full AAA budget game.  They have the talent, but they need the man power and the budget.

With that said idk if they'd have anything ready by the time of e3.

So is a new Gears of War the rumored Black Tusk game announced a while back? If so I would be disappointed cuze I want a new IP!

Multiple things are being said depending on who you ask. ONe thing is certain and that is Black Tusk is now working on Gears and a new ip may open up in the future as the team either grows or after they finish the first gears.  Gears is top priority at the moment at BT

I'm disappointed yet again, while I do like gears of war I was hoping for a new IP that actually forces me to get a xbox one

sigh I guess the recipe of halo gears and fable is microsofts priority yet again, too bad!

Why is it too bad? Gears is being requested by majority of Xbox FPS fans.

A MS pumped out and still pumping more exclusives in the last 3 months than the competition.

I love new Ips also but now is time for MS to solidify their library on X1, with IPs that will most likely hit homerun financially.

Well guys you all were right. Really liking Tales of Vesperia so far :)

It's even more awesome when you play with three other buddies!

Killer Instinct is a Success and Return of other Ip's

If you're curious how well the new Killer Instinct on Xbox One has performed, wonder no more. The head of Microsoft Studios, and corporate vice president, Phil Spencer left a tweet briefly addressing the new title's performance.

"Success with KI was a good sign and you'll see some more IP return," said Spencer.

The fact that Killer Instinct has performed so well that Microsoft is thinking of resurrecting some of the other IPs is definitely good news for fighting game fans, as it means there's been yet another successful title in recent memory.

Fighting game releases have been a bit of a mixed bag these last few years.

Injustice: Gods Among Us and Mortal Kombat 9 have been strong performers for NetherRealm Studios, with the latter game selling close to 4 million units.

On the other end of the spectrum, titles like Tekken Tag Tournament 2, Street Fighter X Tekken, Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3, Marvel vs. Capcom: Origins and Darkstalkers Resurrection, among others, performed below their respective company's expectations.

Regardless, Killer Instinct being marked as a success is good news for the FGC, as it shows there's still a solid interest in fighting games on the next generation consoles.
