I wouldnt go that far.  Quantum Break, Killer Instinct, Max, and Project Spark has already been announced/released from 1st parties.  They are also investing in third parties like Sunset Overdrive, TitanFall, Ryse, and Dead Rising.  Then include having Undead Labs as a 2nd party. And of course there is more to come. MSFT is doing a lot more than what people has been giving them credit for the last few days as it has been pretty clear that they have invested a lot of money in software compared to Sony/Nintendo.  no offense to them, they have good lineups as well but so far MSFT has been the ones really been focusing on getting exclusive content on their console.

So how ong is this game anyways?


Depends on this:

 

· Focus only on the story: 40-50 hours

· Focus on story + sidequest: 80-100 hours

· Trying to get "Vesperia Master" achievement: +150 hours

im just going for story haha  Still cant help but think this would have been a great franchise to have on the vita -_-

The game is long. Pretty long! But enjoyable altogether. For me, it never got boring. One of my favourite 360 games.

I still remember the Gears 2 Teaser Bare your Teeth.  You guys really dont understand how big of a fan i am of this franchise.  So excited that it is continueing, but i want them to continue from gears 3.  Im not sure i want a reboot or new characters.  Im very attatched to the current characters.  Books are great, games are great, but rebooting it isnt my thing.  

Btw they should hire Karen Travis as a writer.  Ill be missing Cliffy B on the project but Karen has done a great job with the books, would be good to have her on board.

I'm also a huge fan but I also love the characters, I don't want to loose Cole Train, Marcus, Carmine Brother (Rip to the other 2 Lol) and Baird, They were all so awesome but I want a reboot =/ Idk where they could go from now unless they can actually come up with a good story for a sequel to Gears 3 then I will be fine with it but it's not like Halo where they can just find another threat in the Galaxy, Covenant, Flood, Forunners, Gears is set on Earth only right? And the Locust threat is defeated looks like permanetly Lol

Yeah its on earth (sera) and Even though they killed the queen all of humanity is gone.   The main questions that remained was why is the queen part human?  Why is Adam Fenix with the Queen and how did they make contact? A lot of questions revolve around those two anyways.   Most importantly, what was on the disc that Adam gave baird(unless im forgetting something). And what were the sires? It would be hard to continue after 3 but they could do it i believe :P    For a while they made it seem as if the locust were created by man kind but then never answered it.

If not the one that comes to my mind is scorching sera with the hammer of dawn.  That would be a good event.  The thing about prequels is you can only do so many prequels with a 15 year period, which i guess would be fine.  Do a prequel and then focus on a new ip and have gears in your back pocket for a while.

I dont want them to do the Pendulum Wars though.  Not really wanting human vs Human
