Average download speed of Steam users in Mbps is 50 in South Korea, 18 in USA, 7 in Australia, 16 in UK, 8 in france, 12 in Russia, 5 in Brazil and so on so for the average user it takes around an hour in USA and UK but can even take 3 or more hours in some other countries to download Ori and we speak about the average here, that also means there are millions in USA and other countries who have much slower speeds as the average is so that "it doesn't take long" is a stupid excuse in my opinion. It clearly means that many won't be able to play it on the day of release.

Sometimes I wonder if they compare it with their own speed which is probably like 100x above average and think that counts for everyone^^

Edit: Btw on Steam you can't even buy it yet and only put it on whishlist, that's also totally fucked up.

Digital only is terrible, nothing beats having a collection of boxes on the shelf.. Taking out the disc from the box and play.

With jrpg with 4 disc and so on, great feeling when it said "change to disc 2", the greatest.

My net I believe is 6.5mb or so.

If you have 6.5Mbps it means the downlaod will take you around three hours.

I think Jay & Ryuu wore me down enough.. buying Ori tonight xD

I don't really have problems with downloading things but that's because I have 100mbs not capped internet. Living in Belgium is expensive as hell but is has it's advantages :p

I won't play it until the weekend anyway.

yeah Belgium has the fastest internet in Europe with the Netherlands, Romania and Sweden if I'm correct. Sometimes I wonder what's going on in some countries that internet is still so much slower as in other countries. Here in Germany as example, pretty healty economy but in many parts still fucked up internet. Hard to believe that politicians don't understand how this is a very important thing for many (especially companies).

We always get to hear how they will do somethjing but I see not much and when I see that a country like Romania has like 3x faster internet I just have to laugh. Nothing against Romania but it's a poor country, if they could manage it it's hard to believe that countries like Germany or even worse in France don't get it.

Lol Versus and Noble crack me up Never change

OT: Ori destroying reviews! I think I predicted mid 80's (85), so 89 is amazing for the game. And yeah, if you don't buy Ori, you're no longer considered worth while in this thread
