I know several people who bought the xbox one just for Halo MCC. 

They aren't rich.  And it isn't nonsense to them.

It will support old peripherals, though Mad Catz is creating new ones as well.

Better yet, it will allow players to import all their content from previous games on PS3 and Xbox 360 into this long-awaited series resurgence. Harmonix said Rock Band 4 will support over 2000 tracks released since the 2007 launch of the original game. The previous Rock Band game, Rock Band 3, launched five years ago in 2010.

Getting a few from those, but not most of the games isn't enough. Capcom is going Sony exclusive, bandai is almost, square idem... Konami is pretty meh, never liked them.

You're constantly contradicting yourself here. You say XBO isn't getting big 3rd party games, then when they're listed you say it's not enough.

And then you mention Capcom supposedly going "Sony exclusive" even though the moneyhatted SFV is on PC. The exact thing that you complain about for Xbox games that go to PC.

Also, idk anything about Persona, but looking it up real quick in the database here none of those games has ever even sold 900k on any platform. Most of them seem to sell around half a mill. from a business standpoint, getting persona onto xbox platforms doesn't make sense.

the market just isn't there on the platform.

persona 4 on the xbox 360 (sold just around 100k copies....) sold terribly compared to the ps3 version.  almost no incentive for microsoft to even try to get persona 5 onto the xbox one.

Wasn't an actual Persona game. Just a 2D fighter spin off. Spinoffs usually sell much less...

even if it is just a spin-off, there are so many other examples of japanese games selling poorly on the xbox 360.

there are a few exceptions, but for the most part, japanese games don't sell very well on xbox.  if the devs think they're going to make a loss on a platform, they probably won't make it.

same goes for microsoft.

Where's the contradiction? Getting half of them is not my definition of "thinking XBO would get the big third part games".

SFV isn't a Sony game, fable and so on are(ms games). Completely different.
