The music in Ori is amazing o.O Love it xD

Feels like ive waited forever for this game though -_-

Yes the game looks awesome sad I won't be able to get it on day one but as soon as my exam ends it is going to be the first buy. Foolish move my Ms to not make it a retail game. They should have gone for $30 retail price tag.

Talking about the way Ms releases the games. They usually have the games but don't spread the releases properly.

For example this year 1st half does not has any big major exclusive. While the later half is crowded with games Fable Legends, Halo 5, Rise of the tomb Raider, Forza 6, Phantom Dust (maybe).

in 2016 we have good number of games coming hopefully ms spreads the releases properly.

I don't think their margin of profit would be satisfactory if they had gone the retail route.

Maybe what is the price of Ori at launch ? but at least they need to release it in the form of prepaid cards.

They could have released with bigger marketing campaign and full $60 price tag not sure on this.

Bigger marketing = millions in ads

$60 price tag would deter a lot of would be customers. I wouldn't buy a 2D side scroller for that price.

He's crossed the point of no return man. There's no saving him now. All we can do is try to look away

One big question that came up often during the Microsoft/Mojang acquisition was, "why spend 2 billion dollars on Minecraft?" From a business perspective, it certainly seemed odd from the outside - the game is certainly popular, but is it that popular? Apparently so - from October to December 2014 (aquarter), first-party game earnings went up by $171 million, much of which is thought to be attributed to Minecraft sales. Keep in mind, this is just over a 3-month period. Could you imagine how high that could go in one year? A sound investment, indeed!

Between its massive success on nearly every platform on Earth, and its eventual inclusion in HoloLens, Minecraft not only isn't slowing down - it's only getting bigger. 2015 will be a good year for the game!

PS.  Just saw myself that the sales of Minecraft on PC increased with 300K between early january and half February...
