Yep, there are currently 4 indie RPG's releasing on Xbox One this year that I'm interested in, Earthlock is one of them. The other 3 are Cosmic Star Heroine, Hyper Light Drifter, and Shiness. All of them are western developed but inspired by JRPG's.

Never heard of Shiness, looks amazing. The environments are AA material imo.

Yeah, the environment graphics aren't that impressive. Same goes for Earthlock. That's biggest problem with indie devs making 3D games, by nature 3D games require good graphics to be impressive visually, and you need a fairly big budget to make impressive 3D graphics. 2D is different, at least imo, Cosmic Star Heroine and Hyper Light Drifter both look gorgeous.

At least it seems to offer some variety, I will just think I'm playing some dreamcast game. And again, that isn't that bad. Most indies look worse.

We should be grateful that it (barely) hit, ps4/XBO goal on kickstarter.

Yeah, it was right down to the wire. I definitely plan to play all 4 games, maybe not at release though, might wait for sales on them, so many games I need to buy this year. Maybe I'll get lucky and one of them will be on GWG right from the day it releases like Guacamelee was. 

Come to think of it there was another indie RPG releasing on Xbox One that I'm interested in, and this one was a JRPG, but I don't remember what it was called : (

I remember posting about this game and I'm pretty sure it was funded.

The only upcoming Xbox One games I see listed as far as jrpg goes is FFXV, FF-Type 0, Kingdom Hearts 3, Edge of Eternity, Wonder Flick, and Earthlock. Unless the website hasn't updated in awhile.

Microsoft is going to hold an event primarily dedicated to Windows 10 next week, and from what we previously heard from Xbox Division head Phil Spencer, we’re going to get announcements about Microsoft as a whole, about Windows and about Xbox as well.

Yesterday, Xbox Live Operations Manager Eric Neustadter teased about it during a Google Hangout hosted by Director of Programming Larry Hryb.

Neustadter did not provide further information on what he was talking about, but he definitely did sound excited.

We’ll have to wait for Wednesday in order to know all the details (and of course you’ll read about it all here on DualShockers). Some think we’re going to hear about Kinect’s poster boy Kudo Tsunoda’s new project, which could be Microsoft’s take on virtual reality, but for now there’s no way to say for sure.
