Just so you know posts like these aren't wanted or acceptable here. If you've a problem then report them or reply in a civil manner in the thread; don't take it out of one thread and into another. Because people jump in and start talking about the user, and down that road leads nothing but disaster!
Now in this case, and this case only, it leads to a question. I thought "the cloud" thing was pretty much accepted by everyone?
Well, I can say Microsoft sold me on an Xbox One finally. I was fighting with myself over if and when I'd ever get an Xbox, but seeing the games it has and the games it's getting puts it very close to 'must have' territory for me. It's not there YET, as I Still chose PS4 for my multiplatform games and I don't care about 'exclusive first access to call of duty DLC' or anything, but the exclusives make me want it.
As for the E3 presentations, Microsoft did damn well, but I only rank them third for overall. Nintendo was the best I feel, and I think the WiiU will finally gain some traction because of it, Sony a close second (they would have been first if not for the lull of hardware and PSNow talk they had near the end), with Microsoft a close third.
They said they'd bring the games, and they did. They brought a LOT of games, and a lot of them seemed genuinely awesome and fun. Sure, they suffered the same "Oh look it's halo and forza" thing that people have been criticizing them for ages, but they made up for it with stuff like Crackdown and that Ori and the Forest of Light or whatever it was. I adore indies and it's nice to see Xbox's Indie division isn't going to be absolutely crushed by Sony as people so aggressively asserted.
All that said, this is the most excited I've been for the future of gaming on all fronts for years. I don't remember the last time I thought to myself "I am so looking forward to the next couple years in gaming" as I did at this E3. The Nintendo Direct presentation was a half dozen strokes of pure genius and made me super, super happy to be a Nintendo fan and optimistic for the console for the first time since it's announcement. the Sony conference had a LOT of awesome content both exclusive and multiplat. If it wasn't for that lull near the end with them just talking about PS Now and Sony TV and all that junk, it'd have been epic. Even Microsoft's presentation made me want - nay, NEED - an Xbone after basically convincing myself I didn't need one.
So good job. Good job.
But seriously, am I the only one who thinks Scalebound looks absolutely terrible? The trailer started with intrigue, then shifted to kinda dumb as I saw that the main character seemed like a shitty Dante ripoff, which was only made worse when he started making facial expressions and listening to the headphones. No gameplay to show what the game is actually like (I'm okay with this as long as the pre-rendered scenes are appealing, like with the Halo 5 reveal last year) mixed with such a bad trailer...sorry about this one, I think Scalebound so far looks like a colossal mess.
I'd be pleased to see the game turn out as good as Platinum's previous games like Bayonetta, Vanquish, and Metal Gear Revengeance, but I dunno. Not excited for this one.

Sounds like there is gunna be atleast 1 more, I'm hoping for 4 monsters. 4 different characters for each class, and 8 maps at least.
Halo MCC will sell 5+ million copies(including digital)
halo 5 will sell 10 million copies(including digital)
x1 will pass ps4 in USA, and UK.

I liked the trailer as well. The premise of the gameplay with the sword cutting the dragon allowing him to absorb the dragon's power seemed cool. The player character seems kind of annoying, but he's not as bad as some people seem to be making him out to be, I saw worse charatcers in other trailers at E3, including that Dead Island 2 trailer (and quite frankly the marketing design for the character in Sunset Overdrive was kind of annoying as well, but fortunately the game allows you to make your own character). People need to stop equating Scalebound's player character with Dante just because they share the same hair color. |
Screw Dead Island -_- Hated the first one. Shouldnt even be making another one. Sold primarily because the trailer was brilliant

Oh, it's too early to assume it is or isn't going to be good, I just feel that the trailer was a huge turnoff to what could be "lair done right".
To me, this feels like that infamous PS3 disaster more than anything else.
and wait, who said the Dead Island 2 trailer looked bad? I thought it was brilliant!

Dead Island was awesome. Especially when played in co-op with friends. |
AS long as the glitches weren't all too prevalent. Kind of like Skyrim, really. The setting, gameplay, and RPG elements are all awesome, it just needed a LOT of polish.
I don't see why people hate it. Criticize it for its shoddy presentation, sure, but the gameplay was solid.
