Saw this comment and thought id post it since i agree.

Every word that is coming out of Phil resonates with exactly what I want to hear from the new head of Xbox. He acknowledges that mistakes were made in the past year with Xbox One and knows that a lot of work is required to fix that. He doesn't sweep it under the rug like a lot of execs seem to do now. He's adamant that a 2 way system of communication with the fans are vital to the success of Xbox. Actually taking the time to listen and respond to the Xbox community. He's making sure that Xbox stays as a key part of Microsoft with good discussions with Satya Nadella. And most importantly he has only one agenda on his mind when it comes to Xbox. GAMES, GAMES, GAMES!!! Cannot wait of E3 this year. It looks like it's going to be a very good one from Microsoft.

Gen 5 level 50. I have 4 of the required 50 Gooser kills. I haven't been trying to get them for very long though. Apparently that patch to drop it to 5 is going to be arriving at MS for certification real soon, it's not something they can roll out onto the servers.

Got this kill the day before yesterday I believe. Has got to be the most embarassing way to die inside of a Titan. Falcon Punch!

Edit: Also really renjoyed that interview! This is why I wish nintendo was more direct with their fans. Having someone respond to feedback on Twitter, or forums and such. Looking forward to the games to be shown at E3 from MS. They really delivered last year, and now that all the BS is gone, I'm look forward to a great showcase.

I do.  It isnt something that im super excited for like i am with Smash Bros but Mario Kart is always fun so ill fosho be getting it :D  PLus i think it looks like it could be one if not the best in the franchise.

ANd yeah i completely agree.  Phil Spencer right now is prob one of the best icons in the industry.   Kind of odd to say that after everything that happened last year but it seems Phil Spencer, Major Nelson, Mike Ybarra, and others can turn things around with MSFT's image, as that imo is what needed changed the most.  Glad to see MSFT taking this approach now

This E3 will be the turning point, and then the price cut later this fall (or at E3) will firmly put them back where they were before the entire fiasco. Not saying they're going to outsell PS4 or anything, just that I think pretty much all the negativity will disappear.

Curious as ever, we recently chatted with Mojang's Daniel Kaplan to discuss the game's big milestone and its next-gen future!

Xbox Wire: 12 million is an awfully big number! How does it feel to be one of the best-selling Xbox 360 titles of all-time?

Daniel Kaplan: It is pretty amazing! I remember when we started talking about sales numbers that we would be super happy to sell 1 million copies. That would have put us on par with BF1943 and Castle Crashers, which both are awesome games, so that was something to aim for. We never even dreamed of selling 12 million!

Xbox Wire: Are there any sweet new packs in the works for "Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition?"

Daniel: Of course! We're looking forward to creating mashups with other games. The Marvel collaboration is a great start and something we want to continue doing.

Xbox Wire: What has impressed you most about the "Minecraft" community on Xbox 360?

Daniel: The continued support and the fact that people are still able to surprise us with innovative creations. Considering you can’t "cheat" by building stuff with external tools, the community have created incredible things.

Xbox Wire: What’s the most requested feature addition for "Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition" from users?

Daniel: Probably bigger worlds. We're pushing the limitations of the 360 in various different ways and we will continue doing that. However, bigger worlds would require the guarantee of a hard drive on each 360; since not all 360's ship with hard drives that makes things tricky. Luckily, on Xbox One, that's not an issue.
