Pretty sure nintendo core gamers didnt ask for mandatory motion controls.

Pretty sure that you should run for the hills before we shred you to pieces.

lol sorry. But I was one and left for that very reason.

You left over mandatory motion controls? Are you going back now MS is doing the same?

It shouldn't be a matter of "Nintendo needs to put out more games to sell their system before we bother", it should be "We'll put out some games for your console to help make it more attractive to buyers". Unfortunately, some publishers just don't see it that way.

Do you think that's how it is on other platforms?  That publishers put games on there to help the platform along?  Because that really isn't how I see it.  Far as I can tell publishers put games on platforms because they think it'll sell, not to help the platform sell.

Edit: To be fair I'd love if publishers would put games on something like the Vita because they wanted to see it succeed, but realistically they're putting the games on there they think will sell and that's it.

...

Nintendo doesn't need to listen to fans.

They need to listen to developers. 3rd party developers. The ones they do not have. Until that happens, if it ever does, they will continue to languish in this position that they're in.

Back from the dead, I'm afraid.

Saying Nintendo isn't listening to fans is a lie. The reason certain games people are disappointed in are releasing is BECAUSE Nintendo is listening.

Well so far, that advice been workng for Sony so far. Making the PS4 the hottest console this holiday season, by listening to their fans.

100% false.   Sony's success isn't because they "listened to the fans" or because they "wanted 3rd party support."

In fact, you are completely off the mark by saying PS4 is the hottest console this holiday season considering it isn't even available yet, and the PS4 was designed with the developers in mind, not the fans.

I like Sony, but don't make up stuff.

The main problem its not selling (currently) is because of the existence of current gen consoles (ps3/360). Why would someone want to buy a Wii U if they have a ps3/360. All the multi-platform games can be bought for the ps3/360 and the experience is basically the same.

The Wii U is going to miss out on a lot of next gen games due to its specs and small user base. That is unless sales pick way up which seems unlikely even with 1st party games on the way. The ps4/X1 will likely overshadow the Wii U for the entirety of the generation. I hope Nintendo has a few tricks up its sleeve or its console business is in trouble.
