Beautiful just...beautiful.

Nintendo and PC gamer

The only definite way to get third parties on board the Wii U are large moneyhats. Lots of developers are downplaying the Wii U, but if Nintendo waved a large sum of money in their face they'll start saying good things about the console.

Pretty sure since the Wii being casual first that Nintendo stopped listening to its fans.

But then again its just revenge for low sales of Gamecube.

Chicken or the egg. Did Nintendo do it or did the fans do it first?

not this shit again...

Pretty sure nintendo core gamers didnt ask for mandatory motion controls.

Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

Nintendo had solid third party support in the NES and SNES days...but they messed it up when they chose to go with cartridges instead of CD's in the N64 days. That's why most of the third party went to Sony. I can't remember the last time I saw a Final Fantasy on a Nintendo console. Hell, the only Rockstar game on a Nintendo home console was a port of Bully to the Wii, and you could get that game on Xbox 360 without any motion controls. Nintendo needs Grand Theft Auto V. I swear to god. They need it as a statement to show that they can get good third party games on their console. Nintendo needs Dying Light, Battlefield 4, Mirrors Edge 2, Kingdom Hearts 3, etc. I think they think the console will sell if it has a ton of exclusives and a few old ports, but they need more than that, especially to stick it to the hardcore.
And I do own a Wii U, and can't wait for the later half of this year or 2014, but still, they need more than multiplats.

If you were really a "Nintendo Core gamer" then you would most likely try out the motion controls and figure out that Nintendo didn't push them with every single game they made.

Not every single...but most. Can;t believe we are having this discussion. Youd think Nintendo fans were used to the idea of sharing with casuals by now.

Hey, you were the one that brought up Nintendo leaving it's fans because they made the Wii. Not me.

Were they mandatory ? I can´t remember Iwata pointing a gun to third party dev´s head, screaming "DEMMN MOTION, USE IT"

Nobody forced anyone,

it´s not like Nintendo demanded Smartglass integration
