Nintendo had solid third party support in the NES and SNES days...but they messed it up when they chose to go with cartridges instead of CD's in the N64 days. That's why most of the third party went to Sony. I can't remember the last time I saw a Final Fantasy on a Nintendo console. Hell, the only Rockstar game on a Nintendo home console was a port of Bully to the Wii, and you could get that game on Xbox 360 without any motion controls. Nintendo needs Grand Theft Auto V. I swear to god. They need it as a statement to show that they can get good third party games on their console. Nintendo needs Dying Light, Battlefield 4, Mirrors Edge 2, Kingdom Hearts 3, etc. I think they think the console will sell if it has a ton of exclusives and a few old ports, but they need more than that, especially to stick it to the hardcore.
And I do own a Wii U, and can't wait for the later half of this year or 2014, but still, they need more than multiplats.
