Forums - General - Do you like sin?

Well, if sin wasn`t tempting, we wouldn`t call it a temptation.
And that`s the point of sin: to pull you away from God.

Sin is everything outside of God.
Basically, what God is, is good, pure, holy - the Truth, Path and Life. Sin is of the devil, of what is evil and impure.
So, in life you walk in one of two paths: the path of God or the path of the devil.
Why do so many people follow the devil`s path?
It`s simple. The devil will never show you his true form, because if he did you would run for your life. What he does is mislead you into thinking you are serving yourself, when in fact you are against God, therefore with the devil.

And when you say that you just want to have fun and live without the fear of God, that should be a strong sign on what path you are taking and who exactly you are serving!
It`s not you.

The best way for you to know what path you are on is to try and put away all of those things you know/are conscious of that are against God. See how it feels and then you`ll know where you will end up.

I`ll just leave a piece of information that i honestly urge you to read and consider.
There have been people, who in the presence of Mary and Jesus have been shown hell. Believe me, it`s not pretty.
If you want, read about the marian apparitions in Portugal in 1917 and the apparition to St. Faustina Kowalska.

Is this post supposed to scare people who do not follow God into following God?

If so, you may be interested to know that it only works on people who already follows God one way or another.

If not, carry on.

OT: I guess that depends on what sin we are talking about but, overall, if there is pleasure involved then it has to do with the act, not the sin itself.

Not every one may be a Christian: one is not “converted” to
Christianity—one must first be sick enough for it....

Man, this game was awesome. Probably the last game I played with a 1MB graphics card.

God must have wanted us to sin. For example, if He didn't want there to be so many atheists, He would have made his existence more apparent, so belief in him could be accomplished via logical thinking, rather than blind faith.

My post was not made to put fear into no one`s heart. But if it did i`m glad. It makes people aware that there are consequences (good and bad).

So people can`t change their minds and hearts?

Anyone can be a person of love for God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. All they need is opening their heart to God. Nothing more.

Well, our flesh loves sin. When we sin, we feel good, our flesh feels good. This doesn't include sex or ya know, running fingers across skin. Please, grow up whoever is going to turn my comment into a joke. ;P

Yes, people can change their minds. (For one, I was a Christian for 16 years.) But changing someone's mind using supernatural claims is extremely difficult if he/she does not believe in supernatural entities, or at least not the entities in question. I mean, if I said that I saw a demon in a dream who claims that he is looking for you, would you be scared? Or if I read in an old book about a great plague that will slowly start to kill all of humanity beginning in three days and decides to warn you about it, would you take shelter? I know that I wouldn't.

As for our hearts, I'm sure there are surgeries for that.
