Yeah, I like to say that SNES Rainbow Road is MK7's real rainbow road!

Each section is basically the equivalent of lap, meaning the course will take the same amount of time as any other.

No, 30-40-ish seconds per section, makes the entire thing way too short for a Rainbow Road. I'd like to enjoy the scenary and music, not have it go by too quickly.

as I do prefer laps, I also enjoy sections. they shouldn't get rid of them, just have the majority of courses as lap courses.

oh, and anyone else think we should have a Rainbow cup? like have a cup completely made up of the 3 best Rainbow road courses in the series, and the last one being the new rainbow road. that would be awesome :D

Yeah I got that already (except the last sentence as that's dependent upon how fast you're going), but as I said it's not a rule that section based tracks have to be shorter. MK7's section tracks may have been short, but that does not mean MK8's will be.

Not too likely since variety is important, but maybe as DLC.
