Sorry guys I just couldn't help but think of this.  Insomniac is a pretty big developer developing hit franchises like Spyro, Resistance, and Ratchet & Clank.  However Insomniac decided that they no longer wanted to stay exclusive to the PlayStation platforms and moved on in a new journey.  Since then they have released Fuse which bombed and announced an Xbox One exclusive "Sunset Overdrive."  Yesterday they also announced a PS3 exclusive "Ratchet & Clank: Into the Nexus."

So is this the first time a big developer has developed two exclusives on rival consoles at the same time? lol

EDIT:  Not the first time.  Apparently there is plenty of others.

Slut is the wrong word. see Insomniac are being payed for this, so really they are simply a prostitute

Going by that rationale, I guess that would be accurate

Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

EA, ps2 FIFA 14 says it all

PS One/2/p/3slim/Vita owner. I survived the Apocalyps3/Collaps3 and all I got was this lousy signature.

Xbox One: What are you doing Dave?

What an inflammatory title...

I think Microsoft is just paying for exlusivity of Sunset Overdrive, otherwise i see no reason for it to not come to Ps4 as well. Its all business, no whoring involved.

I believe Sega did it in 2002 with Jet Set Radio Future (Xbox) and Virtua Fighter 4 (PS2)

There is more, but I'm too lazy to search..

Not at all.  Squaresoft, Capcom, Midway, Konami, Activision and many others have developed (internally by the same studio, not just published by separate studios) done this over the years.

If I have more time, I'll list examples later.

Depends what you call a big developer.  From Software made 3D Dot Game Heroes for PS3 and that Ninja game (sorry I honestly can't recall what it was called right now) for 360.  That's one off the top of my head.
