Sorry guys I just couldn't help but think of this. Insomniac is a pretty big developer developing hit franchises like Spyro, Resistance, and Ratchet & Clank. However Insomniac decided that they no longer wanted to stay exclusive to the PlayStation platforms and moved on in a new journey. Since then they have released Fuse which bombed and announced an Xbox One exclusive "Sunset Overdrive." Yesterday they also announced a PS3 exclusive "Ratchet & Clank: Into the Nexus."
So is this the first time a big developer has developed two exclusives on rival consoles at the same time? lol
EDIT: Not the first time. Apparently there is plenty of others.
