It is Microsoft's job to get their products in the hands of every fucking person on this planet. There is no desperation. They are doing their jobs to get their console out there.

yeah and gotomeeting is 468 bucks for a seat per year....
but once again I didn't perceive that as a desk option but a conference room one definitely.... but looking at professional pricing for similar services.... XB1/Kinect combo beats most of them on price so far....
and if you are an accountant you don't really care if it's written Xbox one gaming console, Alcatel Visio conference super-duper pro device, or mega dildo box with a cam and voice playback feature... on the device.... you look at capabilities, price, and depreciation.....
I don't think a lot of comp will go crazy and buy it but I really do think it is an excellent viable option regardless....

IMO if you want to raise red flags for the IRS to audit you, then file a video game console as a business expense on your taxes. There is no way it would be worth the risk - even if someone actually used it for business reasons (you could always invite clients to your office to play video games and watch tv then claim it as an entertainment expense!)
the harder MSFT tries w the XBONE the worse they make it sound- How could a company w as many resources (both human and capital) screw up their message so badly so many times?
It is difficult to fathom and sounds to me like the decision to go in the direction they tried was one made outside the gaming division- and either Don Mattrick was too much of a "yes man" to stop it or he had no choice in the matter- usually even the big boss will not blatantly go against the direction of a whole division of the company w out at least some key support in that division in order to get some cover if it blows up
lol if the IRS foes nuts on 500 bucks discrepancies and shady expense or even 10 times that.... they'd need a century every year to go through each companies....
and you can buy a video game console for your company if you want to.... you can buy a full gaming room if you want to.... heck you can even build a skate park a pool and a rock climbing wall if you want to... as long as it is not for personal use but for the company to use.....

Microsoft cant just stay focused on gaming. They just can't LOL. They have to run everything.
