Forums - Gaming - No need for petitions

Do you like gaming petitions?

Yes 12 27.91%

No 16 37.21%

Don't Care 15 34.88%

Very simple question with a new petition out every week.  Do you get annoyed that we are having so many petitions as of late?  For one they dont do anything and two, who cares for the most part.

So do you like petitions or not?

I really don't care about them much. They barely do jack shit and I usually just ignore them.

they achieve nothing. Twitter trends seem to have a actual effect if enough retweet

Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

Maybe we should petition for no more petitions!

I think it depends on what the petition is for. Sometimes it could be useful, other times not so much.

that, pretty much that.

PS One/2/p/3slim/Vita owner. I survived the Apocalyps3/Collaps3 and all I got was this lousy signature.

Xbox One: What are you doing Dave?

Depends on what you're aiming for. I don't dislike petitions though.

Yes.

Everyone: sign this petition.

moveon.org uses petitions and they work a ton. They raise awareness and if promoted correctly they show a distinct level of support (or lack thereof) for something.

I like them.

Get 100,000 people to sign something and a company will take notice as that is more equivalent to 1m+ people.

they may seem pointless but we have the right to so why not? And they can work sometimes. We might as well use our rights before we end up losing them somehow. No reason to get annoyed with them, just ignore them if you don't care what they aim to do.

Xbox Series, PS5 and Switch (+ Many Retro Consoles)

Prediction: Switch 2 will outsell the PS5 by 2030

I dont't mind, though few actually do come to fruition, but I'm all for people being heard

Yes. They annoy me very much because I don't care about them.
