So much heat from literally a non-issue. Ps3, 360, wii, gba, gba sp, ds, 3ds, vita, wiiu, all of these devices had some indicator light on their input devices/unit itself. This is the first one that literally doesnt shove the light in your face...

Actually, electricity leaching from electronics like broadband modems and routers are quite significant.  A broadband modem, for example, leaches as much electricity as a 32" LCD TV in a year.  Can't find the article, but just read it yesterday.  It was an interesting read.

Bottom line is, no, 3 PCB mounted LEDs aren't going to consume a significant amount of battery.

Sony knew that we didn't want to camera with the console.

I guess that expalins the Lightbar not being able to turn off and the preinstalled PlayRoom.

Sony denied removing the camera.
