I personally wouldn't buy it.
Ryan, sometimes you have some truly terrible ideas. This, I am sorry to say, is one of those times.
I think they should set up legacy titles for mobile. There's a huge revenue stream for Nintendo there. Though when it comes down to it, I'm not sure people would buy NES Mario for 5 bucks that Nintendo charges on the Virtual Console.

They are actually working on this strategy. They are providing tools to quickly port iOS games to Wii U. I think it's a great idea to attract casuals and be all over the next craze.

I agree.
Weighing an OS made by Nintendo especially for the Wii U against Android is a complete one-sided victory. (In my opinion.)
yeah, heres the thing, the gamepad is NOT a tablet, so the idea already fails. Unless Ninty can update it to make it actually portable, but i dont see that happening or being possible
| spurgeonryan said: What would be so hard? Just save the games to the gamepad and play them offline. Does it have to be portable? Why not just play the android games at home?^ I do not see the difficulty here. I play plenty of Amazon games at home. Sitting on the front porch, while watching some dumb TV show that my family likes, or even as I go to bed. Why does the tablet need to be portable? |
Because tablets are portable, its really that simple otherwise it isnt a tablet, which the gamepad isnt.
Why not play android games at home? because they suck, why the hell would i play those when i have PS123, Wii etc that has much better gaming experiences. Thats like eating McDonalds when i have steak and lobster. Hell i barely play them when im not home, thats what Vita and 3ds is for. And this is comign from an android user.
