Show us your idea of a non-out of date design then, Mr. Xbone fan?

I'm no big fan of the Xbone either. Although Xbone looks neutral, like a classic traditional home electroics device.
For non-out of date design we have to look at Samsung's TVs and phones, and Apple's iPhones and iPads. And even better, look at the design of new BMWs.

The new BMW's suck in my opinion =/

I haven't kept track o the very latest BMW design, but I mean all the models designed by Chris Bangle between 2000 and 2009 or so (like the 3-series E90 and the 6-series he made).

Wouldn't that make that look out of date? Out of date would entail that it is designed after older styled fashions. I can't quite recall any electronics resembling what PS4 looks like. There are some nods to the PS2 in its design thanks to its 1/3 two tone being sperated by a line but its dual layer placement and off center arrangement is fresh in comparison to other devices.
Xbox One has been compared to VCR's but I give it more credit than that. It's size is its big hinderance, along with its square shape. I think if it wasn't so square, thinner it would compare more to a sound bar in design. As long as it wasn't any wider than current model I think that adjustment would make it interesting and attract the eye to its more appealing front rather than its imposing top.
