terrible. But luckily they have the rest of the year to fix the shit before the competitors. If they didn't oh man..... i'll say this, if all 3 next gen consoles came out the same time, the wii u will be in bigger shits than it is now.

U think that even if they delayed the console to holiday 2013 and had all these big holiday games as its launch lineup?

I did not consider that....
I still think they will stuck with the same terrible marketing strategy

In my view, I think they squandered it. I thought they would have had some decent titles lined up for this year and give people plenty of reasons to pick up the console around the fall to dissuade some people from picking up the other next gen consoles (or at least make it difficult for them to chose), but their efforts could not be further from this. I do like their lineup for the 2014, and that year appears to be a very promising year for the console judging by the software.
I think a big part of it, as you pointed out in your post, has to do with HD development. I get the sense that's why they have reached out to some third parties (with experience in HD) for some titles. Either way, I hope they get their act together next year.
Playstation = The Beast from the East

Sony + Nintendo = WIN! PS3 + PSV + PS4 + Wii U + 3DS

Well to be fair they havent had any big games release this year so marketing wouldnt make much sense, Iit would just piss off the new people who buy a Wii U and realize there is no new games on the horizon.
Unless u mean those shitty dubstep commercials, I agree those were awful.

I think they've done amazingly. The Wii U is being outsold by the Vita. I literally couldn't be happier.
They've done an absolutely atrocious job.
A launch lineup of ports, a minigame collection, and a very generic Mario, a nine month software drought, awful advertising...
It's been mismanagement on a scale to rival 2006 Sony. Pretty much everything they could get wrong, they did.
I think all those delays were their biggest issue. Led to that uber long drought.

Yep.
besides they can use what they have. They had a mario game at launch and lego is fairly popular - there is no excuse for not pushing these titles along with others.

For WiiU, it's been terrible. But the end of the year looks pretty promising. For 3DS, they did exceptional. It was an awesome year for the little handheld.
