There was another Nintendo Direct yesterday in Japan with some announcements for 3DS and Wii U.

 

Services:

 

  • August: YNN to WiiU, watch shows and animes through Wii U on your TV or on your Gamepad.
  • Demae-Chan, delivery service for food directly through your WIi U Gamepad.
  • Bandai Channel, watch a large amount of anime through Wii U on your TV or Gamepad.
  • 10% discount for every new game on Wii U eShop during launch week from now on.
  • Flipnote Studio 3D releasing July 24 in Japan.

 

Games:

 

  • Chibi Robo Photography out now on 3DS eShop (with Demo)
  • game is about photographing real world objects and putting them into predetermined shadows, converting them into "Nostaljunk" for the museum.
  • Denpa Ningen No RPG 3 (The Denpa Men 3) for Japan announced
  • releasing august 7 on the japanese eshop, with a demo coming july 31
  • new mechanic (afaik) is that you now can catch and tame monsters.
  • denpa men from the previous games can be imported.



Ongoing bet with think-man: He wins if MH4 releases in any shape or form on PSV in 2013, I win if it doesn't.

I forgot to mention, you can also buy and decorate houses for your denpa men now.

I hope they can add an anime channel to the european Wii U. Like Crunchyroll, for exemple.

Awesome news. Nintendo is revving up their markethold in Japan, these are excellent measures. The Nintendo clientbase are always on the lookout for affordable content, and this fits in perfectly with that. Also, the anime and food channels are things the people want, I totally approve of this.
