Are u fucking kidding? Yes I expected this game on 3DS and Universe for Wii U but u need to think from a mass consumer perspective. 3D Land is the fastest selling 3D Mario title and this is a direct sequel that adds multiplayer, playable characters with different abilities, new enemies, new upgrades, new levels. How is that lazy? Not every game can be revolutionary, this game will sell 5 million wasily and very possibly 10 million.

Of course it will be a million seller, but not a system seller. It won't move hardware and won't sell the Wii U. It's too low class, low quality to sell consoles. It will be the worst sale of 3D Mario ever. It will sell less than Super Mario Sunshine.

It might not be a system seller in and of itself but with the addition of DKC/Wind Waker/Wii Fit/Party, Wii U u should have a solid holiday.

Here's what I'll do, I'll ask this: Are you seriously saying that the E3 reveal of MK8 didn't happen and that they never said they were gonna unveil MK8 in playable form at E3? Are you really trying to tell me that this thread right here and whatever site that interview came from is the first time the general public is hearing about MK8? I'd like a simple yes or no answer without any childish bull crap please. Surely that's not too much to ask for. Most people know how to answer yes or no questions by second grade amirite!?

Didn't you see my debacle with him? It shows he can't actually back up anything he says. He's nothing but "X because I say so!" logic. People like that are better off ignored unless you're really bored, which I am atm hehe.

Oh, and about MK8's release. Them delaying LoZ:TP, shows that they're willing to delay even if their console ain't selling, and another Wii U drought wouldn't be as bad now that it'll actually have a decent library of games. Don't get me wrong here though. I'm not saying they shouldn't avoid delaying it if possible, only that it's not uber necessary for MK8 to be released in Spring, which means they can delay it if absolutely necessary. I doubt they'll need to it delay it though, so all that I'm saying here will likely be meaningless. And yeah I was also thinking they'd do MK8 for Spring, Smash for Summer, and Zelda for Holidays, with other games in between to keep a steady flow.

The comment from Konno about F Zero is quite pleasing, though given Mario Kart 8 will release sometime in the first half of next year, I would assume any F Zero game would be around 2016. Still, one can dream. I think Mario Kart 8 looks excellent.

The graphics, the music, the artstyle, the level design and the way the game is built, as simple as that. Nobody who played it thought it will be a great game. it's just a good game to have fun in multiplayer.

This isn't the full fledged 3D platformer who raise the bar of the whole genre and make you scream "wow". It's that little ok game.

You are just embarassing yourself. Mario Kart developer said that the game's developpment started one year ago. It is a new information and it is surprising, because if Nintendo had begun the developpement 6 months earlier, the game would be ready for christmas and it would be way better for the Wii U.

At this point you are just trolling trying to spin something else out of a very clear situation.
