Great to see The Last of Us still on top. Deserves it.
God of War once again begins it's Ascension up the chart. Impressed by the legs it's showing.

Yep, I did notice that. Let's hope so; these charts are certainly showing that the console needs it!
I only caught the sponsor ads before and after ad breaks, though. And to be honest, they were utter crap. They didn't do anything to show off the console really; all I saw was something like a child playing on the gamepad and a dad waving round a Wiimote & Nunchuck or something like that.
No gameplay; no on-screen footage even. I don't personally think that's a very good way to advertise a console.
I wonder what it is with advertising in the UK lately. Vita ads over the holidays were completely rubbish too.
Nice staying power for both TLoU and Aminal Corssing.
Also, Far Cry 3? Is that because of new pricing or do the English (British? I never know) really like that game a lot?

I never said they were good. But they are there. And the TdF is on for over 3 weeks, so that's a lotta ads.

I am not from the UK, I don't watch ITV4, i do watch the Tour de France but I'm just interested... what is it? ;p
OT: Nice to see tlou doing good. |
It's Wii U ads. They're no good, but it shows some form of commitment to spend money on advertising like the Tour.

The problem is that not many people are going to be watching it here, especially with no Wiggins. To advertise properly in the UK, you have to do what Apple does, ie lie a lot and then try their latest adverts where they say nothing other other than "we're Apple, aren't we special"
Anyway, it fell 50% last week and now another 35%. If that went WW, it would mean the Last of Us would now be close to 2m. Not bad!
I don't think there is much coming out soon, but you would imagine FIFA/CoD will return to the top as the summer drags on

Here a little quote I want for those to keep memorize in your head for this coming next gen. By: Suke |
Wonder what Game & Wario did. Probably less than 1500 to not enter the top 40, but was it just outside or further down? I guess if we could get a rough estimate of need for speed, then we could know what the bottom of the charts amounts to when we get the platform splits from the Guardian.
It's great to see the charts nowadays when the genres are so varied! Hopefully shooter dominance is at an end. Also really interesting to see that 3 of the top 5 (AC, Sims and MC) are builder type games.
