Because none of those things are even close to being as important as gameplay.

The WiiU is equal to the PS3 and Xbox 360. The Wii lacked in alot of things, and making it equal to the PS2 and Gamecube/ XBOX. I think Nintendo is gonna fail this time, they are all out of luck. i hope SEGA comes back :(

Horsepower is so irrelevant when it comes to determining a generation. It's always been time of release, up until the Wii whooped ass this past gen. People try to play semantics because they can't have it that the Wii was/is the market leader of a soon to be done 7th gen.

But here's what's ironic; Wii U feels more like a step backwards from the Wii than an evolution of it. An abandonment of a console that sold 100m units and 'won' the console war. An abandonment of a console that was very user friendly and economical. Which had a controller that really did revolutionize gaming.

What we get with Wii U is a hodgepodge of past Nintendo controllers with a touch screen. This isn't resonating with the market, and I remain baffled as to the mindset at Nintendo.

This, the wii wasn't able to do more than 480p so it was a gen behind the ps3 and xbox 360 now that wii U is a gen ahead of the wii it's the same gen as the ps360 nuff said

Wii U may be more powerful but it really doesn't matter. It's still in the same ballpark as PS3/360 while PS4/720 are on another continent.

Ok since people say the wiiu is 7 generation, so your saying nintendo release two consoles in the 6 gen? (wii and gamecube) that doesnt make any since why are people saying really retarded stuff? Ok.. by you logic, The PS4 will be 7th generation also! remember the ps2? how weak it was compare to the other consoles, I guess since it was the less power it was a generation behind which makes it 5 generation. That will make the ps3 6th generation and the upcoming ps4 7th generation!
