These kinds of threads reek of people trying to justify what they like. You like what you like just call it what it is. I personally have stuck with the playstation line of gaming throughout mostly because of the JRPGs but ps3 has just as many shooters as the xbox. Using metacritic review percentages doesn't tell the whole story.

I'm glad KZ2 made it into the top ten though...such an underrated game.

you have to compare also the multiplats, cos if you have the same experience of exclusives in multiplats, they(the exclusives) are pointless to be a great factor to buy a console.

If you want to make such a comparison, perhaps you should include all their exclusives. It will actually show you what each company has to offer in each genre. Maybe another list to show what the best selling titles are on each system (exclusives and non exclusive titles). Your parameter is too limited to make any sort of real valid comparison considering the large library of exclusives for each console.

I'd say the PS3 exclusives list is the best, with the Wii close behind.

I'm surprised at how very little exclusive games I own.

Yeah, I didn't know how to classify trials evolution. However, I do have a problem with people trying to say games like uncharted and tthe last of us are shooters. There's shooting involved sure, but there's shooting in a lot of games. Tbe object of tbe game is adventure with a heavy dose of shooting action.

I also hate everyone trying to call every game ever "action/adventure" when trying to defend xbox for their relative lack of variety. There's a huge difference between comparing halo and gears of war since 95% of those games consistst of running from room to room shooting things. The only difference is the perspective of the camera. Huge difference than comparing uncharted, which has platforming, puzzles, and exploration in addition to the shooting, to metal gear solid, which has rpg elements and mostly stealth, and actively discourages shooting.

The genre debates are starting to really irritate me.
