The game looks very cool. I really hope it comes to PS4. Not bothered by the lack of campaign. I play BF/COD/HALO just for the multiplayer and games like Bioshock for the campaign.

Exactly this. I have no doubts Titanfall will eventually make its way to PS4 (in an inferior fashion using EA's servers) but if you listen to the interview, it's the only thing that makes sense given the context. They aren't talking about others games PS gamers have to wait for, so "Titanfall too" doesn't make sense. They are, however, talking about how Respawn wants a small scale release for game one, so "Titanfall 2" actually makes sense.

thats an MMO, and you can add MAG to that list and lets see how well either of those did.

MAG sales seem decent. Many Sony 1st party games have done worse. Also, not particularly well received.

You seem a little defensive.

He used MAG as an example of online only games with poor sales. But MAG sold better than most games Sony released on the PS3. Hence, more MAG games would have likely been a better investment than games like Twisted Metal, Starhawk, PS All Stars, LBP Karting, etc

DC Universe was a mediocre MMO with monthly fees. MAG wasn't well received by critics but still sold more units than many other 1st party PS3 titles.

Right! We don't know if Titanfall will be good. The quality of the game will impact Titanfall's sales more than being online only. And since its on 360 and PC as well, it has an opportunity to reach a large audience.

DC Universe didn't "do well" because it was an average MMO.

MAG didn't do well because it was a below average title that tried to live on a gimmick 256 player feature.

If Titanfall is half as good as CoD 1-4 were, it will sell great. If they put "from the makers of CoD" on the box it's going to add tons of sales.

Right, people are just using mediocre games as an example of how online only games do on consoles.

Destiny and Titanfall might be the first great console games that are online only.

BUT, I am curious, you say most of Sony's games sold less than 1.29mill. Mind putting out data to back that up? The latter three you mentioned don't even make up a quarter of their releases on PS3, which is where I'm confused.

I'm just gonna cut and paste the sales numbers of Sony published games on VGChartz.

Remember, I'm just pointing out MAG sold better than most of Sony's PS3 releases.

LOL I was wondering how anyone could be confused by your comment. Just a quick look at the charts shows you're 100% right. Hell it sold better than 75% of the PS3 games, yikes.
