How do you know it was  a stealth troll. Maybe he's trying to clean it up and was being sincere. The ban should be judged from the comment alone, not past history. It's either that person gets banned or doesn't for that type of post. Not every person has  different rules attached to them.

My personal opinions on multiplayer may not match up to the 20 million COD fans... but does that mean those of us who generally prefer single player games are not allowed an opinion?

I mean look at warthunder and world of tanks, amazingly successful... doesnt mean i want to play them :)

I cant and thats my point, IMHO they have been mediocore at best. Its a combination of being online only and those games not being all that to begin with that  leads to just ok sales. THe only game tha seemed to be alright is that DUST game and thats online only so who knows how well its doing. 

No, COD wouldnt have reached the heights it did without a strong SP campaign, lets be real here. COD didnt become big till COD4, so it took many entries for it become the juggernaut it is today, and people werent exactly playing the early CODs for strong MP component, they are NOW. BF has always been a PC game and it now has SP modes so that game is kinda moot here. 

DOnt know about the lists im still waiting for all the games that sold better than MAG so we can have a real comparison.

its my understanding that mods do take history into account, take that how you want it.

My friend i do play all the campigns of Call of Duty games. So i am one of the few who actually is their prospective customer when it comes to single player. I was merely pointing out that people don't understand that they are a new developer. Yes they have the pedigree of Call of Duty but even they could not secure the same kind of budget to play around as they did with Activision. 

A team of 70 people really have to priorotize how they go about making their games as in today's world that is at most mid tier developer size. So i fully understand and support their idea of going multiplayer focus with mix of AI enemies. Also the fact that this is new ip that we didn't even knew existed just a couple of months ago but now all of a sudden we are suppose to write it off by writing poorly written forum posts. I mean they could have cut the price down but just like any game the first batch of people who buy the game have no problem paying retail price. Heck sometimes even more when it comes to special/limited editions of games. So price drop will come naturally. 

Also World of Tanks doesn't reaise any exitement in me either. Don't know about Warthunder. Thanks :)

That's exactly what we are saying, the games thrown up for comparison have been mostly pretty ho-hum games that wouldn't have sold great no matter what. DUST is free to play.

I didn't say CoD would have reached "the same heights", only that it still would have sold in the millions. Your reply says as such. CoD didn't become huge until CoD4, even though it had always had amazing SP campaigns.

The part of my reply about the list was not really directed at you unless you're the one who took the time for a rebuttal list. But you can just count the games on that list higher than MAG. I think there were only 24 or so. It's clearly outsold most other Sony games on PS3.

I understand if it's a offense that could get you banned and you get warned a few times and you keep doing it, then yes it should be a ban but the mods could have banned them the first time. Either way I haven't been banned since I think 2008. So I'm not so worried but I also haven't posted as much and didn't log in for years.

I try to keep it chill. However I see some people on here getting away with murder and some can barely post. No need to name names.

It would be cool if it came to ps4, but I was picking it up for my Pc so doesnt really bother me:)
