Homefront



Not only the textures but also an insane amount of jaggies. Game was decent though.

Can't say I prefer ugly, muddy textures by any stretch of the imagination. Though with enough artistic skill (see Nintendo) in cartoony games they can look okay. What is it you like about them, is it some camp thing or what? Because I fail to understand. :)

Having poor graphics doesn't make a bad game, but if I was given the choice to play a game and was able to choose from worse graphics or better graphics, as long as the game had stable framerate, I'd rather play the version with better graphics. I play the NES Super Mario Bros titles from time to time, but if I have the choice to play either, usually I'll play the SNES version(All Stars) instead.

Don't know. I guess I'm tired of so much photorrealism nowadays. I sometimes want something either artistic, or rather ugly and muddy. I laugh at the graphics, but at the same time I feel good for playing something that is not shy to show how flawed it is in its graphics design.

Resolution 800x640, Lowest details, no shadows, no shaders, no AA, no nothing. Stay tuned for more pics from some other modern games.
