Having poor graphics doesn't make a bad game, but if I was given the choice to play a game and was able to choose from worse graphics or better graphics, as long as the game had stable framerate, I'd rather play the version with better graphics. I play the NES Super Mario Bros titles from time to time, but if I have the choice to play either, usually I'll play the SNES version(All Stars) instead.
