Yeah, I was never really a fan of water levels, so I didn't miss them in DKCR, but the move to directional swimming instead of the old "press A to go up a bit" swimming (which I despise) gives me hope that they may not piss me off this time.
If Tropical Freeze is better than the amazing DKCR, I'll be over the moon. From what we've seen so far, I reckon it has a shot; more characters and 3D segments is a good start.
