Cyberpunk has updated their requirements and uhh... Bad news for AMD GPU fans....

Considering we know that in Raster, the 6800 XT is much more powerful than a 3070, the game appears to be heavily optimized for Nvidia in both Raster and obviously Ray Tracing as AMD GPUs aren't even an option for RT. Least not yet anyway... Also the fact that they have a 5700 XT vs 2060...

I'll wait for banchmarks, as I'm not sure they could really test the game with big Navi, and even if, then certainly not thoroughly yet.

Tbh it does fall in line with how bad the Witcher 3 performance is on Big Navi.

But granted the Witcher 3 is very old now.

So I can probably play @1440P UW on high with what I have. Good enough :P

CDPR are obviously Nvidia shills. Why else would they even put RT in their game.

Big Navi is weaker with older DX versions. PCGamesHardware.de has intentionally both a DX10 and even a DX9 game in it's benchmark parcours to see how new hardware works with older games, and Big Navi does best under Vulcan or DX12, but not as well with DX11 and even worse with DX10/DX9.

So if 2077 is made with DX12, it should do better than TW3 in benchmarks.

So, a 2060 to play at 1440p on Ultra settings... well, if I lower some settings to High I could play it with my 1070, even if it's at 30fps.But who knows, by the time I get the game (I'll wait for the GOTY edition with all the aditional content), I may have a better PC and I'll be able to play it with all the bells and whistles.

Please excuse my bad English.

Currently gaming on a PC with an i5-4670k@stock (for now), 16Gb RAM 1600 MHz and a GTX 1070

Steam / Live / NNID : jonxiquet    Add me if you want, but I'm a single player gamer.

Still gonna hold out and play it on a new rig @ 4K with everything cranked to delicious. A game like that deserves better than my old rustbucket.

So I'm pretty much decided on a 3080 TUF at this point. My next dilemma is whether to hold off playing Cyberpunk until I can get my hands on one. -__-

Don't worry. I am sure they will delay it again.

Capcom may be working on Dragon’s Dogma 2, a new Onimusha game and Street Fighter 6
https://www.dsogaming.com/news/capcom-may-be-working-on-dragons-dogma-2-a-new-onimusha-game-and-street-fighter-6/
Earlier this month, we informed you about some Capcom games that could be under development. And today, some new details about a number of unannounced games have surfaced online. The following release schedule comes from the massive Capcom leak that occurred in October 2020.
>> I'm all in for a new Onimusha... but I don't know if I trust Capcom enough to make a proper new game.

I dont know they did pretty good with the Resi Remakes and DmC5, so im hopeful it will turn out good.

They've done well as of late, but those franchises you've listed did the jump to free cameras a long time ago, unlike Onimusha, that never got beyond those fixed cameras from the PS1. And the last game (or games?) after 3 was quite bad.
