So Intel is going to make discrete GPUs now? Can't wait for AMD to hear the news, maybe they want to start that too.

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

Around the Network

I think Intel making dGPUs would be really good - not only they have know-how, but given that AMD is pretty much out of any serious race, challenging nVidia's (what is basically) monopooly would be great for cutomers.

Final Fantasy XV will not be using the Denuvo anti-tamper tech
https://www.dsogaming.com/news/final-fantasy-xv-will-not-be-using-the-denuvo-anti-tamper-tech/
Square Enix is a company that has used the Denuvo anti-tamper tech in some of its titles. Two of them are Star Ocean The Last Hope and Final Fantasy XII The Zodiac Age. However, the publisher has just updated Final Fantasy XV’s store page with its EULA and we can safely say now that the game will not be using the controversial anti-tamper tech.

According to the team, a PC version of Final Fantasy XV was considered right from the start, however, there is another Square Enix triple-A game that is currently under development. That game is Kingdom Hearts 3 (Square Enix is also working on FF7Remake but this has already been confirmed was already hinted for the PC). And while Kingdom Hearts 3 has only been announced for PS4 and Xbox One, we may actually see it on the PC after its console release.

It's not often that a developer takes the words right out of my mouth, but developer Supergonk did just that when they, too, called Trailblazers "F-Zero meets Splatoon." The suit comes in response to a December 2017 lawsuit filed by Stardock claiming that Ford and Reiche are infringing on its trademark with its Ghosts of the Precursors game, and more interestingly, that they're not actually the "creators" of Star Control.

In my experience, London's streets are terrified of straight lines, and Amsterdam is a melting city drunk on itself. My point is, the Western architects of old clearly weren't concerned with symmetry. Developer Polymorph Games wants to channel that freeform design in gridless city builder Foundation. It's now on Kickstarter: its campaign has raised $45,000 of its $59,000 and will run for another 20 days.

Like many multiplayer games, Ubisoft operates a test server for Rainbow Six Siege, where patches undergo some public trials before being rolled out officially. (...)
Part of the fun of being a tester, though, is sifting through the smaller changes that lurk underneath the surface—recoil tweaks, gadget changes, and stuff that hasn't yet been outlined in patch notes. As testers hopped in, they found a massive one: Blitz, the attacker who wields a ballistic shield with an embedded flashbulb, was now moving like The Flash.
