Funcom, the MMO studio behind games including Age of Conan, The Secret World, and Conan Exiles, is getting up to something new. It won't say what it is until February 28, but it's teasing the project with a countdown site that you can try to pull some clues from at countdown2zero.com.

 

Ubisoft details, and delays, Assassin's Creed Origins next DLC

Ubisoft has dropped a new gameplay trailer for the upcoming Assassin's Creed: Origins DLC Curse of the Pharaohs, showcasing where you'll go, what you'll do, and who you'll have to deal with once the silverware starts flying. It's basically the opposite of the Discovery mode: Whereas that expansion takes players on an educational tour through the "real" Egypt of antiquity, this one is a battle against undead pharaohs, Anubis-like guards, and giant scorpions.

Put Immortal: Unchained through its paces during this closed Alpha test

A closed Alpha test for Immortal: Unchained, the new action-RPG from Toadman Interactive and Sold Out, will go live early next month.
Running from March 8, 2018 until March 12, the Alpha gives you the opportunity to explore the first two locations of the game, as well as experience the "hardcore" brutality of the combat and gunplay.

A fan has unveiled a secret message in Metal Gear Survive.
Right at the beginning of the campaign, you'll get prompted to add your name, and will shortly see it listed on a clipboard with a load of others. Eagle-eyed Twitterer NourishedPsyche noticed that the initials of the names around it spell it KJP FOREVER, with KJP widely used as an abbreviation of the now defunct Kojima Productions.

Despite selling over a million copies in less than a fortnight, Kingdom Come: Deliverance's executive producer, Martin Klíma, would've liked more time to polish the game.
In a community Q&A posted on the official forum, Klíma answered a long list of questions from fans, discussing everything from his favourite music playlist, to the day-to-day activities of an executive producer.

In a panel at the recent PC Gamer Weekender, Firaxis' senior producer Andrew Frederiksen, and the DLC's lead designer Anton Strenger, explained how they came up with the cast of characters for Civ 6's Rise and Fall expansion.

With a tractor here and a harvester there (and ploughs, trailers, trucks and more), publisher Techland tells us players will be able to import custom-made machines from their preferred 3D software—which can be shared in turn with the game's community.
