Humble's Brawler Bundle puts up its dukes with Rivals of Aether, BlazBlue, Street Fighter X Tekken
https://www.pcgamer.com/humbles-brawler-bundle-puts-up-its-dukes-with-rivals-of-aether-blazblue-street-fighter-x-tekken/
Whether your fighting flush or guarding your pennies, Humble's latest gathering of games has something to suit your budget. Well, that's assuming you like beat 'em ups.
If you don't, you're as screwed as me playing any beat 'em up in the history of beat 'em ups. But if you do, you might like to know the Humble Brawler Bundle's pay what you want tier features BlazBlue: Continuum Shift Extend, Skullgirls, and GUILTY GEAR XX ΛCORE CORE PLUS R—the latter of which means business because it's stylised in all-caps.

>>That's on the Humble Bundle side. On the Humble Store there are two sales going on, a CCP Sale and a Prehistoric Sale. Both will end in a couple days.

You can get FTL free with Into the Breach for a limited time
https://www.pcgamer.com/you-can-get-ftl-free-with-into-the-breach-for-a-limited-time/
Intro the Breach, FTL developer Subset Games' latest, is finally out, and it's fantastic. The tiny little tactics game scored our first 90 of the year, and for good reason: Alex called it an exacting, agonizing, ever-changing challenge in his review. It's singing a different tune than FTL, but the same level of care has gone into it.
If you're interested in playing both of Subset's greats, you can get FTL's Advanced Edition for free if you purchase Into the Breach from GOG on or before Tuesday, March 6. It's $15, and if you already own FTL, you can also get a gift code for a friend.

That's not the only deal at GOG, tho. There's also the daily deal, which today is Konung 1+2: https://www.gog.com/game/konung_1_2

And lastly, there's the Steam Midweek Madness sale:

https://www.pcgamer.com/gta-online-adds-pfister-comet-sr-25-off-mammoth-avengers-double-gta-and-rp-on-special-vehicle-missions/
Grand Theft Auto's Pfister Comet has been one of my favourite rides since its Vice City intro—second only to the Banshee. The Porsche 911/996 GT2-styled brief now welcomes its SR edition to GTA Online, alongside a pretty impressive aircraft sale, and double GTA$ and RP bonuses on Special Vehicle, Gunrunning, Air Quota and Rockstar-created Transform race missions.

Surviving Mars' randomised research detailed in dev panel

Matt Damon made life on Mars seem almost trivial, but I have a sneaking suspicion that I'd struggle to adjust to the red planet, what with its notable absence of corner shops offering cheap flapjack at nearly any time of day. Haemimont Games' imminent Surviving Mars will give me a chance to prepare for it beforehand—you know, should NASA run out of astronauts and have to resort to sending unfit games journalists out on its galactic expeditions.

Another couple of news, but this time not game related:

AMD GPU Shipments Increased Big Time in Q4 2017, NVIDIA and Intel Decline – Over 3 Million Graphics Card Sold To Crypto Miners in 2017
https://wccftech.com/amd-nvidia-intel-q4-2017-gpu-market-share/
The latest GPU market report from Jon Peddie research has been released and shows that AMD gained a good chunk of the GPU market share during fourth quarter of 2017. At the same time, both NVIDIA and Intel witnessed decline in GPU market share.

When breaking down the numbers, it looks like AMD won this quarter big time with a market share increase of 8.1%. At the same time, NVIDIA decreased -6% while Intel decreased -2%.

The report also states that 3 million discrete graphics cards were consumed by miners alone during 2017 which amounted to $776 million in sales. (...)AMD was the main benefactor of the total mining hardware sales of $776 million as reported in the article.

>>AMD gained a lot of market share, but we know it's not "real" as plenty of their cards ended up in mining rigs, not consumers/gamers. Also, despite the big increase over the last quarter, AMD remains lower than it was one year ago, while Nvidia is up.

NVIDIA claims that GPU prices will continue increasing through Q3 2018
https://www.dsogaming.com/news/nvidia-claims-that-gpu-prices-will-continue-increasing-through-q3-2018/
Things are not looking good for everyone wishing to build a new gaming PC. As we all know, the prices for all modern graphics cards have sky-rocketed over the past few months. And according to NVIDIA, this situation will not be resolved soon as the prices will continue increasing through Q3 2018.

As NVIDIA told Massdrop, the pricing in the market will continue to go up through Q3 of this year. In other words, don’t expect to buy a cheap high-end graphics card anytime soon.

According to the green team, the two main reasons causing the GPU prices to increase each and every month are the mining craze and the vRAM shortage.

>>F*ck!

I don't think Nvidia is going to bother staving off miners once their new GPU line comes out. As long as they are making money, they won't care. They'll toss out the same kind of PR SE tossed out with Nier on PC, as in it'll be empty PR, with nothing to back it up.

Step right up come on in, feel the buzz in your veins, I'm like an chemical electrical right into your brain and I'm the one who killed the Radio, soon you'll all see

So pay up motherfuckers you belong to "V"

Here's hoping Nvidia will release the GTX2070 soon... I'll be able to upgrade for nothing, and gain a few £££ from it as a bonus :))

It's the perfect excuse to release Ampere for premium premium prices. GTX1180 for 1000€ and upwards.

Nvidia will probably position a GPU as a crypto card at the high end.
Handle it like they do with the Titans, and take all the profit for themselves.
Leaving the AIB partners to handle the gaming cards, which will probably be made irrelevant to miners by crypto cards.

That is of course assuming that Turing and Ampere are both real.
