The news, part two:
GTA Online adds Pfister Comet SR, 25% off Mammoth Avengers, double GTA$ and RP on Special Vehicle missions
https://www.pcgamer.com/gta-online-adds-pfister-comet-sr-25-off-mammoth-avengers-double-gta-and-rp-on-special-vehicle-missions/
Grand Theft Auto's Pfister Comet has been one of my favourite rides since its Vice City intro—second only to the Banshee. The Porsche 911/996 GT2-styled brief now welcomes its SR edition to GTA Online, alongside a pretty impressive aircraft sale, and double GTA$ and RP bonuses on Special Vehicle, Gunrunning, Air Quota and Rockstar-created Transform race missions.

https://www.pcgamer.com/esrb-tackles-loot-boxes-with-a-new-in-game-purchases-label/
The ESRB has announced that it will roll out a new warning label for physical game releases indicating to consumers that the game will contain some form of in-game purchases. The agency described the new label as a "sensible approach" to keeping parents and gamers informed, and said that it will begin appearing on boxed games and websites in the near future.
Death Trash dev calls out 'copycat' on Steam: 'Please rename your game'
https://www.pcgamer.com/death-trash-dev-calls-out-copycat-on-steam-please-rename-your-game/
Death Trash is a gross, gritty RPG set in a post-apocalyptic wasteland which happens to contain a city named Fucktopia. FukTopia, meanwhile, is a 2D fighting game which has clearly borrowed Death Trash's art style and descriptions—so much so that Death Trash developer Stephan Hövelbrinks recently accused FukTopia developer Freeminds Studios of plagiarism.

A new Overwatch patch is now live, bringing with it the hero balance tweaks that have been undergoing testing on the PTR for the last few weeks. Sombra sees the most changes, with her ult no longer generating charge from hacked health packs.

Hellscreen, the retro shooter with a rear-view mirror, is now on Kickstarter
https://www.pcgamer.com/hellscreen-the-retro-shooter-with-a-rear-view-mirror-is-now-on-kickstarter/
You may remember Hellscreen from an article Austin wrote last year: it's a stylish, retro, reflex-oriented FPS with a bloody rearview mirror. (...)
Creator Jamie Degen has just launched a Kickstarter for the game, alongside a huge dump of info regarding how the game will play, its weapons, and its levels. "We wanted to put Hellscreen on Kickstarter because we want to devote ourselves full time to realise its vision," the Kickstarter page reads. "It also allows us to get the game out quicker and to a higher quality.
Fortnite's jetpacks pushed in favour of new Hunting Rifle (Updated)
https://www.pcgamer.com/jetpacks-are-coming-soon-to-fortnite/
Think of a compromising situation, a worst-case-scenario type dealio. Got one? Okay, now add a jetpack into that mix. Better, right? If there's a circumstance that jetpacks can't make better I'm yet to hear it.
Update: As reported below, Jetpacks are "coming soon" to Fortnite—but Epic Games has now told us they'll land a little later than planned. In the elusive item's place comes the new Hunting Rifle.
Surviving Mars' randomised research detailed in dev panel
https://www.pcgamer.com/surviving-mars-randomised-research-detailed-in-developer-panel/
Matt Damon made life on Mars seem almost trivial, but I have a sneaking suspicion that I'd struggle to adjust to the red planet, what with its notable absence of corner shops offering cheap flapjack at nearly any time of day. Haemimont Games' imminent Surviving Mars will give me a chance to prepare for it beforehand—you know, should NASA run out of astronauts and have to resort to sending unfit games journalists out on its galactic expeditions.

Battle Princess Madelyn is Causal Bit Games' debut project, a modern throwback to Ghosts 'n Ghouls-era platformers that accrued three times its Kickstarter ask last April. As director and CEO, Christopher Obritsch shoulders most of the work. His boss, however, is his seven-year-old daughter Maddi.
PC Building Simulator hits early access soon, here's how it plays
https://www.pcgamer.com/pc-building-simulator-hits-early-access-next-month-heres-how-it-plays/
I've never built a full PC from scratch, but I feel like a right engineering genius every time I open a PC up and stick in some extra memory or a new graphics card. If you want to get that feeling without having to shell out for some expensive tech, or face all the dust that's been collecting since the last time you opened the case, then you might want to take a look at PC Building Simulator, a game that pretty much introduces itself.
>>Sorry, caffeinade, it shows it works, but not if there's a story, campaign or anything like that.
Please excuse my bad English.
