TOTAL WAR'S NEXT CHAPTER WILL EXPLORE A "BRAND NEW ERA," SAY ITS CREATORS
http://www.pcgamer.com/total-wars-next-chapter-will-explore-a-brand-new-era-say-its-creators/
The Creative Assembly's Total War turn-based strategy series is one which has historically focused on historical events. The most recent entry, Total War: Warhammer, is of course the exception—with its magic and orcs and vampire counts and what not—and it seems the next instalment of the now 16 year old franchise will explore similarly uncharted territory.

FROZEN SYNAPSE 2 GETS NEAT NEW TRAILER, DELAYED TO 2017
http://www.pcgamer.com/frozen-synapse-2-gets-neat-new-trailer-delayed-to-2017/
"Imagine being able to simulate the next five seconds of your life, see the consequences of your actions, then change your plan accordingly," is how Tom Francis introduced his review of 2011's wonderful stop-start strategy game Frozen Synapse—an opening that not only stands as an intro but also details the game's central mechanic. Now imagine that its incoming sequel has a new and flashy trailer, but is also being delayed into 2017.

UBISOFT IS MOVING AWAY FROM NARRATIVE-DRIVEN EXPERIENCES
http://www.pcgamer.com/ubisoft-is-moving-away-from-narrative-driven-experiences/
Ubisoft wants to move away from heavily-scripted, narrative-driven games towards more freeform experiences, according to the publisher's chief creative officer Serge Hascoet. In an interview with Le Monde, Hascoet said that he wants Ubisoft games to resemble an "anecdote factory", and that titles allowing player expression outsell more linear titles.

STAR WARS BATTLEFRONT DLC ROGUE ONE: SCARIF WILL BE OUT IN EARLY DECEMBER
http://www.pcgamer.com/star-wars-battlefront-dlc-rogue-one-scarif-will-be-out-in-early-december/
Electronic Arts has revealed that the fourth and final Star Wars Battlefrontexpansion, Rogue One: Scarif, will be released to season pass holders on December 6, ten days ahead of the theatrical release of the new Star Wars film, Rogue One.

TELLTALE'S BATMAN EPISODE 4 OUT NEXT WEEK
http://www.pcgamer.com/telltales-batman-episode-4-out-next-week/
Telltale's Batman—that's the cel-shaded, choicey one, propped up by an engine well past its use-by date—is getting a fourth episode soon, and by "soon" I mean November 22. That's a Tuesday of course, in fact it's Tuesday next week, and it looks like the story is hotting up in Episode 4.

SHENZHEN I/O LEAVES EARLY ACCESS
http://www.pcgamer.com/shenzhen-io-leaves-early-access/
SHENZHEN I/O, the rare game name that I think deserves to be written in all-caps, left Steam Early Access yesterday, after just over a month in the oven. That's not very long at all, but it's because Zachtronics' programmery puzzler was pretty much done already when it launched into early access on October 6.

THOUGHTFUL PLATFORM-PUZZLER EVEN THE OCEAN OUT NOW
http://www.pcgamer.com/thoughtful-platform-puzzler-even-the-ocean-out-now/
Back in 2014, past-me wrote about an intriguing platformer named Even the Ocean, from the developers of dreamy Zelda-like Anodyne. I reviewed that, and really enjoyed it, so I'm pretty interested in this "narrative action platformer about balancing the Light and Dark energies that hold the world together". Balancing the world's bright/gloomy energies sounds like a worthwhile thing to be doing, and you can finally do just that as Even the Ocean is finally out.

That's all for the news, now let's go with the deals:

Overwatch is also free to play this weekend: https://playoverwatch.com/en-us/blog/20372506

That's good to know.

So, for gamers that like online multiplayer games, this weekend there's Overwatch, ES Online and of course EVE Online, that went free to play. Pretty much something for everybody.

Guys, what do you think of the Galax/KFA brand? (Honest and useful opinion, not "it's not Asus so it's rubish" comments )

I'm asking because a Spanish store will have a great deal on a KFA branded GTX 1070 this Black Friday, and I want to know if it's worth it or not.

REMEDY’S NEW TRAILER IS ACTUALLY A… RECRUITMENT VIDEO
http://www.dsogaming.com/videotrailer-news/remedys-new-trailer-is-actually-a-recruitment-video/
Remember Remedy’s tease? You know, a new game trailer that was about to be unveiled? Well, it appears that this trailer is not about a new game but rather about recruiting new talented people. Yeap, that’s right; no new Nintendo Switch game, no new Alan Wake, no new Quantum Break.

>>As with the Tekken article, there's a thread about this since Friday, but this one was made by shikamaru317.

http://www.dsogaming.com/news/battlefield-1-pc-gamers-report-visual-downgrade-ation-after-latest-patch-dice-investigating/
It appears that the PC version of Battlefield 1 got visually worse after its latest title update. According to a number of gamers, the latest update has downgraded the game’s visuals. Even though this looks more like a bug than an intentional downgrade, gamers provided some comparison screenshots in order to showcase the visual differences.

Let me phrase it this way. If I can't find a good ASUS card then I would also consider KFA. I would never buy a 1070 though.

Yes, there are even more news:

TITANFALL 2 IS ON SALE FOR $33 ON ORIGIN AND AMAZON RIGHT NOW
http://www.pcgamer.com/titanfall-2-is-on-sale-for-33-on-origin-and-amazon-right-now/
Titanfall 2 is an outstanding shooter, and one of the best games to come out this year. And even though that debut took place just a few weeks ago, it's now on sale for just a hair over half-price: $33 instead of the regular $60. Such a steep discount so early is an ominous sign for a AAA release, and earlier this week Respawn CEO Vince Zampella said it was too early to tell whether or not we'll see a third Titanfall.

A NEW HITMAN ELUSIVE TARGET HAS APPEARED IN PARIS
http://www.pcgamer.com/a-new-hitman-elusive-target-has-appeared-in-paris/
The very particular set of skills of Hitman are once again being called upon, this time to rub out a new Elusive Target in the City of Light. His name is Gabriel Santos, otherwise known as The Chef, and he must die—because, apparently, he is a dick.

BETHESDA PINBALL IS A REAL THING THAT'S OUT SOON
http://www.pcgamer.com/bethesda-pinball-is-a-real-thing-thats-out-soon/
Skyrim has been remastered into its ultimate form: as a new pinball table for Zen's suite of pinball titles (seemingly Pinball FX2 on PC, though the announcement post is unclear). Zen Studios has, in the past, transformed the likes of The Walking Dead, South Park and Portal into pinball tables, and with the Bethesda Pinball pack it's done the same for Skyrim, Doom and Fallout.

MY FRIEND PEDRO IS A 2D MAX PAYNE THAT LOOKS BANANAS
http://www.pcgamer.com/my-friend-pedro-is-a-2d-max-payne-that-looks-bananas/
I remember enjoying the original My Friend Pedro, which is still available to play for free over on Adult Swim. It's a sidescrolling, platforming shooter that does the whole slow-mo gun-fu thing better than most games out there, and it also features a talking banana. So yeah.

MINIDOOM IS A FREE, SIDESCROLLING TRIBUTE TO THE ORIGINAL DOOM
http://www.pcgamer.com/minidoom-is-a-free-sidescrolling-tribute-to-the-original-doom/
Doom is famous for being one of the most influential first-person shooters of all time, but would it have worked as a 2D platformer? Given the premise – angry space marine must kill monsters, reach end of level – it probably wouldn't have been as gamechanging, but judging by this fan project, it'd still have been pretty cool.

WORLD OF WARCRAFT CELEBRATES 12TH BIRTHDAY WITH FREE CORGI PUPPIES
http://www.pcgamer.com/world-of-warcraft-celebrates-12th-birthday-with-free-corgi-puppies/
Blizzard's enduring fantasy MMO series World of Warcraft is celebrating its 12th year anniversary by giving away free stuff. Inclusive to its 'Anniversary GiftPackage' players can expect 200 Timewarped Badges, a Celebration Package item which increases experience and reputation gains from kills by "12 percent for one hour", and a new quest.

ROCKET LEAGUE LINES UP CUSTOMISED TRAINING MODE
http://www.pcgamer.com/rocket-league-lines-up-customised-training-mode/
Rocket League's next update will introduce Custom Training—a feature that lets "all of [its] players build and share their own training sequences within the community," so says developer Psyonix.

SOLID SNAKE AND FEMSHEP VOICE ACTORS CITE REASONS BEHIND SAG-AFTRA STRIKE
http://www.pcgamer.com/solid-snake-and-femshep-voice-actors-cite-reasons-behind-sag-aftra-strike/
As Andy reported last month, videogame voice actors and motion capture artists recently went on strike following a contractual disagreement between major publishers and the performers' union SAG-AFTRA. David Hayter and Jennifer Hale—who you may recognise as Metal Gear Solid's original Solid Snake and FemShep from the Mass Effect series, among other roles—have now spoken out about some of the hardships which in part led to the strike action.

Well, if you couldn't find an Asus card, you would look at every other brand out there, right?

And my options, given my budget, are a RX 480 or a GTX 1060. Thanks to the BF deal, that KFA 1070 would become a viable purchase. I'd love to buy a 1080, but it would need a hell of a discount to enter into the realm of what I can actually buy.

Oh, Intel's Kaby Lake CPUs are coming soon. and while you can use the existing motherboards with Z170 and H170 chipsets with them (as long as they get a BIOS update from the manufacturer, something that most have already done), they will come alongside Intel's new 200 series.

The new features that may interest us the most are Intel's Optane Technoilogy (that's for SSDs) and that the new chipsets have more PCIe lanes.

These M.2 or mSATA SSDs are killing my mind, making me buying more a piece of chip for my current desktop(or next build) and even gaming laptops and forget about SATA 3 ports.
