any recommendations on a racing game for PC (Windows 10) that works with G27 racing wheel?

Well there is the upcoming NFS PC port which apparently supports a number of wheels, anything apart from that I'm not sure of since I haven't played any racing games in about 2 years.

Both Project Cars and Assetto Corsa support the G27, among others.

Also most F1 games support it too, and F1 2015 is free to plat this weekend so you could try it.

Besides those games, there are a lot more that support your wheel. Just go to steam, go to a game's page, discussions and search g27, the results will tell you if it works or not (ie: it doesn't work on Dirt 3).

Thanks.  Will check on those games.  Hate it when PS4 and X1 doesn't support the G27.

Valve may have found a way to make the HTC Vive more attractive to potential VR buyers. It has found a way to do the same thing Sony does: double the frames.

Valve targeting lower price systems and GPUs for VR

http://www.pcper.com/news/Graphics-Cards/Valve-targeting-lower-price-systems-and-GPUs-VR

original story: http://uploadvr.com/valve-cost-vr-graphics/

“As long as the GPU can hit 45 HZ we want for people to be able to run VR,” Vlachos told UploadVR after the talk. “We’ve said the recommended spec is a 970, same as Oculus, but we do want lesser GPUs to work. We’re trying to reduce the cost [of VR].”

“I can run Aperture [a graphically rich Valve-built VR experience] on a 680 without dropping frames at a lower quality, and, for me, that’s enough of a proof of concept,” Vlachos said.

I don't like the sound of compromises tbh, lowering the GPU bar means devs can greatly lower their output, price cuts I'm all the way behind them on that but not for lowering how much the device can do.

We don't know how Valve will manage to do that, it's too early to call for compromises.

What's more, given the extra requirements of VR on PC, if that tech is well implemented it could be good for all because that would allow devs to implement VR on demanding games without compromises on the graphics.

Because let's be honest, most VR games so far have sub-standard graphics. Only Eve: Valkyrie, Elite Dangerous, Project Cars and Adr1ft seem to push the graphics envelope.
